Experience the the breathtaking views and wildlife of Manitoulin Island from a different viewpoint, on the back of a horse. Whether you wish to take a gentle and relaxing ride through quiet woods or would like a more challenging ride through open fields and narrow pathways, new riders and professionals alike will enjoy the trail rides in the local area.

Honora Bay Riding Stable offers guided trail rides ranging from 30 minutes to an overnight adventure. They also offer private and group lessons year round. Finally, youth ages 8-15 can partake in summer day camp which includes riding instruction, grooming, care of horses and equipment, playing with foals, horseback games and trail rides. 

Kicking Mule Ranch provides hour long trail rides through the scenic forests around the ranch. Wagon Rides are also available providing a way to enjoy the scenery without using a horse. Finally, Listen to the Ranch Band and Cowboy Bob as they perform western favourites from now and yesteryear at the Jamboree. Music, cowboy poetry and high humour are a great way to wrap up the week.

Sweetgrass Ranch and Riding Stables on Aundeck Omni Kaning First Nation is open year round offering guided trail rides, pony rides, sleigh rides, riding lessons, horse training, boarding and breeding.
